She writes: "Today our students had an art therapist come to our room to have students make a craft using different items with different textures.
These sessions provide enrichment based support, help explore emotions, develop coping skills, and express themselves non-verbally through art.

We have so many exciting things happening in Science! Ms. Buck’s 6th grade students are using light microscopes to observe and analyze specimens to determine if they are living or non-living. How cool is that?!

Hey Warriors- We had another 24 hour challenge before the Color Run. Tuesday, September 23. Mr. Miller said he would grant a VIP lunch experience for whichever class raised the most money in each team! A big shout out and thank you to our PTO, not only did they provide the supplies for beautifully decorated tables with balloons and cookies, but they also provided volunteers! The winning classes enjoyed having time with their assistant principal, and sitting at a VIP table!
Congrats to the homerooms of Ms. Compton, Mr. Crook, Ms. Riesett and Ms. Garrison's classes! (Ms. Compton's photo got lost in the clouds but they had a BLAST with Ms. Bachini!)

Here are our ice cream winners from our 24hr challenge on Monday 9/22! Our winners were Nolan H., Lolly W., Kyla D., and Caris F.! Between just the four students, they brought in $1,180 collectively. We are so thankful for their hard work!

Happy Saturday Afternoon, Warriors! Last Wednesday, the 5th grade band had their Beginning Band Night! They received their instruments for the first time and learned how to put them together, take care of them, and even make some sounds. Thank you to all of the community members, administration, district personnel, instructors, Sweetwater, 6th grade band students, and most of all -- the parents of these wonderful students for helping these young musicians start their journey. We are so proud of what's happening in the Warrior Band!
